Dessert Dash opens Monday, October 19, and closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 23. Desserts will be delivered to winning bidders.

We are partnering with Cameron Catering to provide delivered dinners for two (Seattle area only). 

 

MENU

Note: October 12 is the deadline date to purchase the delivered meal.

Dinner: Moroccan Menu

  • Moroccan Spiced Pita Chips with Trio of Dips
  • Chicken Tagine: Tender pieces of chicken gently simmered with Moroccan spices (cinnamon, cumin, ginger and paprika), preserved lemons and olives.
  • Mejadra
  • Lentils and basmati rice with turmeric, allspice, cinnamon, and coriander topped with fried onions.
  • Honey and Harissa Roasted Baby Carrots with Yogurt and Dill
  • Lebna Panna Cotta with Saffron Poached Apricots and Pistachio Shortbread

Vegetarian Option

Same menu as above with Chicken Tagine substituted by:

  • Seasonal Vegetables and Lentil Tagine.
  • Roasted vegetables and squash gently simmered with Moroccan spices (cinnamon, cumin, ginger and paprika) and lentils.

Join us for the 25th annual and first virtual “Take a Bite Out of Hunger” Benefit Auction. The money raised will directly benefit the customers of the Food Bank. 

The Fund-A-Need during the Live portion of the auction program will raise money toward our $400,000 annual food budget, funds that we can use for Walk-In Food Bank, Home Delivery, Packs For Kids, North Seattle College and Magnuson Park Community food pantries. 

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required to place bids in the Silent and Live auction and donate to the Fund-A-Need. After registering for our auction, you will receive a link to signup for Online Bidding with Greater Giving.
